I bought the Stone Fly combo at the beginning of the summer. I as very new to fly fishing and this combo came highly recommended by a couple guys at my local sporting goods store. They all said it is the one they use, and they love it, and after several months of use I can say I totally agree. I have landed my fair share of trout and smallmouth close to home as well as some largemouth and even a pickerel back east. I wound up with an issue that was due to me being a clumsy beginner, so I called them up and had what was the best customer service experience I have ever had. So much so that I plan to buy all the rods I need in the future from Maxxon.

This I bu far the best combo I’ve ever had, the reel it’s amazing it’s smooth and high quality and the warranty on it is just amazing. I recently broke my rod and I called them and they sent me the piece that broke this is by far the best company I’ve ever bought a fly rod from and I’m recommending them to everyone I know.
