The Salish is our first fly rod developed specifically to meet the needs of big game, saltwater anglers everywhere. Born in the brackish waters of the Pacific Northwest and refined in the Indian River Lagoon, the Salish leaves nothing on the table to chance.

A skeletonized, machined-aluminum reel seat, powerful dual uplocking rings and matching stealth black, hard-anodized snake guides are just a few features that combat the relentless salt water. Salish. fly rod.

My customer needed an 11wt for a trip to Mexico later this spring. After trying my rods out he decided on the Salish. He’s happy and I’m pleased to be able to help him out.

Awesome Streamer Rod!!

Purchased a 6wt at the beginning of the year. Never leave home without it. So I come back for an 8wt. Folks I've delt with in the office are cooler than a fan too.

7 wt with a great back!

Got the 7 weight to use on Puget sound coho. Hooked a few today. The Salish “fights up” at least 1 weight class! If you are in Seattle area, visit Justin and Brian. Nicest, most helpful, most sincere small business guys I’ve met. It obvious they live and breathe fishing and customer service

Great Rod for Big Fish

I do a lot of baby and juvenile tarpon fishing in Mexico. I typically run an 8, 9 or 10. These fish run between 15 and 40 pounds and you never know when you're going to need some extra backbone. The last two trips I brought the Salish 8 and 9. I gotta tell you, the performance and response, regardless of the wind, was first class.

In this game, when the light turns green and there's cruising tarpon at 50' or more, you HAVE to be able to deliver. Many of my boat mates are almost always ten feet short. I can make those necessary casts with the Salish line of rods. They double haul like a dream. I like the big ball fighting butt, guide spacing and overall flex of these rods, whether your casting or fighting in a big fish.

When you are paying big money on these kinds of trips, you can't afford to come up short. It is extremely frustrating to many trout anglers who head to saltwater, only to find their style of casting doesn't cut it in saltwater. I've used a number of high-end expensive flyrods and the Salish matches up head to head. Why spend a ton of cash on a rod that will not perform any better than this modestly priced Salish?

Whether you heading to exotic destinations or just down the road for some big fish action, bring a Salish along and you'll head home with a smile on your face.

Good job boys - you got a winner here!!
