Fantastic, lightweight, powerful reel!

I recently got an XG II for my quill 5wt, what a smooth and powerful reel.

I was sight fishing a decent smallmouth bass off a dock, and it blew up on my bug, after the hookset, it took me all the way to the reel, the drag took the dives, jumps and thrashing like a champ and even had enough hold to horse the fish out of the weeds!

With this lightweight reel, you can go anywhere and fish any species with the confidence that the drag system will hold up to the hottest fish!
