The one and only XMX reel has been closely copied by other manufacturers but not even close to being as good as our original! This fully machined, open cage, large arbor reel is constructed using 6160-T6 aluminum. When in operation, the XMX has tight tolerances and a silky smooth retrieve that set.s it apart from imitators. Other design details such as a concave drag knob and fully vented frame help reduce overall weight while maintaining perfect center-line balance on the rod. The XMX has a 2-way clicker, which was designed for to help guides keep an ear on what the reel is doing in their clients hands, and for those anglers that are just into that old fashion clicking sound. Bonefish

I was invited to bonefish in the Bahamas. Saltwater reel and rod was not in my budget. I had a 7wt. rod with this reel. The bonefish screeched off a 100 yds [not feet] at a time. The rod bent all the way down to the butt. The rod [MO9A4-7F] and reel performed perfectly all the time. Every day I rinsed off the salt water. After returning to Pennsylvania I promptly caught a rainbow and brown trout [about 18"] and again the combo worked flawlessly.

Can roll with the kings

Can’t say enough about this reel. The super smooth drag paired with Maxxon sinking line and a maxxon 8wt is all you need to catch big salmon here in the PNW. Light weight yet durable. With the spares spool, different lines along the removable clicker. Makes this reel versatile for many different fishing methods. 10/10
